While testing Seedance 2.5, I discovered something useful for AI filmmakers that could save you a lot of credits.
Whenever I tried to generate a 30-second sequence with heavy VFX and unconventional camera choreography, the model often drifted away from the camera movements I described.
So I tried something different.
I isolated the VFX moment and generated it as a standalone 6-second shot.
The difference was huge.
Both Seedance 2.5 and 2.0 followed my camera choreography much more closely, including the exact movement path and how far I wanted the camera to travel.
What surprised me even more was how well Seedance 2.0 performed. In some cases, it actually handled my instructions better than 2.5, which I wasn't expecting.
If you're creating an impactful VFX shot that requires precise, non-standard camera movements, try generating that moment separately and assembling it in the edit.
You could save yourself a lot of failed generations and wasted credits.
